Mayor David Stoudenmire says the city is trying to see if mold is growing in the old Loris High School. The city started looking into it after people who are part of the Senior Citizens Center that was based there started complaining about health problems.

A daycare and the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club also use the city owned building. The Senior Citizens Center has moved, but the other two groups say they are waiting to see what test results show before deciding what to do.
