Is a hepatitis B virus HBV infection contagious in people who manage to get rid of the hepatitis B infection?No. People who manage to get rid of the hepatitis B virus HBV infection after being infected are immune to further hepatitis B virus infections. And they cannot get infection again and is not contagious.
If a hepatitis B virus HBV infection test, tests positive after 6 month, is it the acute hepatitis B.No. It the blood test still tests positive for the hepatitis B virus HBV infection after 6 month, the person has a chronic hepatitis B virus infection.
Do All with hepatitis B virus HBV infection, develop chronic hepatitis B ?No. Only 10 pct of adults and 50 pct. of children, but 90 pct of all hepatitis B virus HBV infection in babies, develops into chronic hepatitis B.
Are sexually transmitted disease only transmitted during anal intercourse?No. Sexually transmitted diseases STDs are transmitted though vaginal, anal and oral sex. However, the risk of transmitting STDs is higher with anal sex. Anal sex often causes bleeding, which makes it easier for germs that travel in blood to get transmitted.
Can AIDS / HIV be totally cured?No. In some people, AIDS can be temporarily controlled using many medications. It cannot be cured though. Even when on medication, AIDS patients need to inform their partners of their disease and they also need to practice safe sex.
